To connect the Oceana 800 to the antenna,
requires the use of certied satellite and GPS
antenna cables. These purpose built cables
are approved by BEAM to manage the power
requirements for the antenna system. The full list
of approved cables can be found at
www.beamcommunications.com/oceana800
1. Refer to the antenna installation guide
for antenna mounting and location
requirements.
2. Run the antenna cables from the Oceana
800 to the antenna.
3. Connect the antenna cable labelled “GPS” to
the SMA antenna connector labelled “GPS”.
4. Connect the antenna cable labelled “Inmarsat”
to the SMA antenna connector labelled “ISAT”.
5. Connect the GPS-SMA (Female) cable end
to the Oceana 800’s SMA connector.
6. Connect the TNC (Female) antenna
cable end to the Oceana 800’s satellite
connector.
