5.13.2 UART IrDA Interface
The IrDA module operates in three different modes:
Slow infrared (SIR) ( 115.2 Kbps)
Medium infrared (MIR) (0.576 Mbps and 1.152 Mbps)
Fast infrared (FIR) (4 Mbps).
Figure 5-97 illustrates the UART IrDA pulse parameters. Table 5-93 and Table 5-94 list the signaling rates
and pulse durations for UART IrDA receive and transmit modes.
