The BD SafetyGlide needle helps promote fast
and easy, single-handed needle shielding with
BD Activation-Assist

technology. It can help
prevent needlestick injuries by allowing you
to easily and securely shield the needle tip
immediately after injection.
The BD Bard-Parker protected disposable scalpel
with quality stainless-steel blades and safety
engineering helps deliver performance without
compromising technique. The scalpels are designed
with the handling and feel that clinicians prefer,
with simple one-handed activation and protection
before and after use.
Filter Straw particulate matter filter helps enable
easy access to medication contained in an ampoule
while filtering out glass particles that may have
entered during opening.
Point-Lok device and needle foam stop help promote
sharps safety.
ChloraPrep patient preoperative skin preparation
is a one-step, broad spectrum antiseptic in a single-use
sterile applicator. Together, the 2% chlorhexidine
gluconate (CHG)/70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA)
formulation and single-use applicator help reduce
microorganisms on the skin. The Hi-Lite Orange tint
helps provide a visual marker of the prepped site.
