and accurately. The cradle is designed to:

• Eliminate painful redirect

• Improve specimen retention

• Facilitate sample size verification

The distal tip of the Jamshidi

™

marrow acquisition cradle

features a unique surface finish to further enhance specimen

retention. A lightweight ejector rod is provided to facilitate

sample size verification.

The marrow acquisition cradle also helps ensure user safety by

eliminating the need to remove the sample directly from the

needle through the sharp distal tip, which poses a potential

needlestick hazard.

marrow acquisition cradle is designed to provide reliable

specimen retention.

The T-handle Illinois aspiration needle features an adjustable

depth stop from 1” to 3

⁄16” (26 mm to 79 mm) for sternal or

pediatric application. For iliac crest use, simply remove the depth

stop to expose the 79 mm aspiration cannula.
