Myelogram trays

BD myelogram trays are available with atraumatic needles that research has shown

reduce the incidence of PLPH (see page 10 for more information about

atraumatic needles).

All of our myelogram trays are designed to give you the components for sampling CSF

and contrast media injection:

• Clear spinal needle hubs feature a clear viewing window and offer 360°

visibility of CSF.

• Three screw-top, clear, numbered vials are provided.

• PVP-I prep solution. (Do not use ChloraPrep patient preoperative skin preparation

for lumbar puncture or in contact with the meninges. ChloraPrep is not included in

lumbar puncture or myelogram trays.)

• Drug-free tray option.

• Pink sponge sticks are included in trays with BD Whitacre atraumatic spinal needles.
