Safe-T PLUS trays meet your diagnostic and therapeutic procedure needs with these safety components Medication labels and fine-tip markers work on syringes, medication cups or basins to help identify medications in the sterile field. The labels are waterproof. The Filter Straw particulate-matter filter helps enable easy access to medication contained in an ampoule while filtering out glass particles that may have entered during opening.
Atraumatic lumbar puncture BD offers standard and Safe-T PLUS lumbar puncture with BD Whitacre atraumatic spinal needles. Atraumatic needles are recommended for the following reasons: • Research has shown that atraumatic needles reduce postlumbar puncture headache (PLPH) in lumbar puncture and myelogram patients.5 • The American Academy of Neurology recommends atraumatic needles for lumbar puncture procedures vs traditional cutting needles.
