Passive Shielding Blood Collection Needles represent a new generation of safety
from BD, the leader in safety-engineered technology. This is a total specimen collection system,
with holder and needle integrated into the design so there is no assembly required.
The product is engineered to provide maximum protection against needlesticks during a blood
draw. The safety shield on the needle releases automatically upon insertion of the first tube—
providing protection from the time the first tube is inserted through product disposal.
