Reducing exposure to hazardous drugs.
The BD PhaSeal™ System is designed to reduce healthcare workers’ exposure to hazardous,
parenteral medications, from pharmacy preparation to patient administration, through disposal.
The BD PhaSeal System is the first CSTD to be cleared by FDA under product code ONB
designed to:
• Mechanically prohibits the transfer of environmental contaminants,
safeguarding healthcare workers from hazardous drug exposure
• The BD PhaSeal System also works in reverse, preventing microbial ingress

• Feature a limited number of components and only one connection interface.
The BD PhaSeal System was created to ISO standards to be compatible with
all standard size drug vials and tubing
*For up to 10 punctures of the protector, within an ISO Class V environment following appropriate aseptic technique.
The BD PhaSeal System meets the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
and the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners’ (ISOPP) definition of a CSTD.
