BIOS SETUP
4.4.8 Other Boot Device
This option sets the type of device for the third boot drives that the BIOS attempts to
boot from after BIOS Post completes
4.4.9 Swap Floppy Drive
Switch the floppy disk drives between beings designated A and B. Default is disabled.
4.4.10 Boot Up Floppy Seek
During POST, BIOS will determine if the floppy disk drive installed is 40 or 80
tracks. 360K types are 40 tracks while 760K, 1.2M and 1.44M are all 80 tracks.
4.4.11 Boot Up NumLock Status
Selections are ON or OFF. Default is ON
4.412 Gate A20 Option
Normal: The A20 signal is controlled by keyboard controller or chipset hardware.
Fast: The A20 signal is controlled by port 92 or chipset specific method.
4.4.13 Typematic Rate Setting
Keystrokes repeat at a rate determined by the keyboard controller. When enabled,
the typematic rate and typematic delay can be selected. The settings are:
Enable/Disable.
4.4.14 Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec)
Set the number of times a second to repeat a keystroke when you hold the key
down. The settings are 250,500, 750 and 1000.
4.4.15 Typematic Delay (Msec)
Set the delay time after the key is held down before is begins to repeat the
keystroke. The settings are 250,500, 750 and 1000.
4.4.16 Security Option
If you have set a password, select whether the password is required every time the
System boots, or only when you enter Setup.
