2 Outside Lines, 1 Extension
To “conference in” someone outside your offi ce:
1. While on the line, switch-hook.
You will hear a triple-beep.
2. Press “8”.
This puts the fi rst call on hold. You will hear a dial tone.
3. Dial “9” to get an outside line (“0” if set by the System Manager), then
dial the desired phone number.
When the party answers, you have the opportunity to announce the call
and speak without the fi rst outside line hearing.
4. Switch-hook.
You will hear a triple-beep.
5. Press “7”. You are now in Conference mode.
All three parties can speak together.
