Point of Interest Search
The world is an interesting place and DVD Cyber Navi makes
it more so. If you're running out of fuel, you can do a vicinity
search to get a list of nearby petrol stations. You can do a
Point of Interest (POI) search by name to locate, for
instance, a restaurant or golf course you've heard about.
Pioneer's second-generation Cyber Navi units now offer
more POIs than ever before - more than 600,000! A POI
search is simplicity itself, designed for unequalled ease of
operation. With more POIs you are sure to end up exactly
where you want to be.
DVD Cyber Navi Routing
You drive in different ways on different days. On Sunday, you might
prefer to take the scenic route and enjoy the drive, but when Monday
morning comes around, you just want to get there as quickly and
efficiently as possible. Pioneer's DVD Cyber Navi system adjusts to
your driving needs. The new routing system for the updated Cyber
Navi units can calculate six routes at once! In addition, these new
units offer you the benefit of being able to make a visual route
selection by colour code and have a route preview function. They do
all this superfast! You can choose between fastest route (time
priority), shortest route (distance priority), alternative route, fastest
route avoiding motorways, shortest distance avoiding motorways,
and alternative route avoiding motorways. You can even set up your
system so that it avoids toll roads or ferries.
AUTO REROUTE
Talk about smart! If you make a mistake or leave the programmed route, the
new and improved DVD Cyber Navi Automatic Rerouting feature automatically
detects the change and in a split second recalculates a new route to your
destination, following the routing conditions at the reroute location. You won’t
lose any time getting back on track.
