IN-CAR MULTIMEDIA

You crave Pure Sound and Pioneer has a solution in
the form of a powerful audio processor called
DEQ-P7000 that has a built-in Dolby Digital/
DTS/Dolby Pro Logic decoder. The powerful DSP
features of this decoder digitally adapt sound,
allowing you to create a truly personal sound profile
and set up a multi-channel audio configuration. If
your car doesn't have a built-in centre speaker for
5.1-channel surround sound, no worries. Pioneer
has provided automatic 4.1-channel downmixing to
compensate for the fifth speaker and still deliver
sound sensation. When you combine the
DEQ-P7000 with the DVH-P7000R, you can count on
full-fledged audio and video — and multi-channel
surround sound so real it gets the blood pumping!
DSP (DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING)
If you are in the market for versatility, sonic purity and distortion-free control of digital signal processing, then
say hello to the many DSP features of the DEQ-P7000. DSP converts the incoming signals to digital form. This
means you can balance the output signal to match the acoustic characteristics of your car and create a personal
sound profile by using the Parametric Equaliser and SFC controls. A range of DSP-based sound timing features,
such as Pioneer’s unique Cabin Equaliser, allow you to set up the system for truly optimal, personalised
performance.
- Speaker Settings Mode the first step is to let the system know which speakers are installed in your system
so the system can be optimised for those particular speakers. You simply select the number and types of
speakers there are in the system, select the size for each speaker and then set the level of each speaker
separately.
- Cabin EQ this powerful DSP circuit uses a 3-Band Parametric Equaliser, Time Alignment and speaker level
settings to optimise your in-car acoustics. And it’s so easy! Simply select the best sound environment
according to the type of car (SUV, SEDAN, WAGON or MINIVAN).
- Cabin EQ (EXPERT) if required, the preset equaliser can be finetuned using the expert mode. Time
Alignement, Speaker Output Level and Parametric EQ allow for the sound to be customised just as required.
