The various user-programmable configurations include the Port Logical
Names, the Port Destination, the Port Select Code, the Port Select
Mode, the Serial Port Configuration, the Input Inactivity Timeout, the
Form Feed Mode, and the I.D. Page Message. The following sections
describe these parameters in detail.

The Port Logical Name is simply an aid to identifying which device is
connected to which port. It is used in the configuration menus and the
I.D. Page Message. It has no function other than identification.
Factory default Device A for Port 1, Device B for Port2,..., Device X
for Port 24.
