example if you wanted a cooling device to be turned on at 100F and turned off at 95F then SV =
95 and Cd = 5.
To quickly program the controller for using only a cooling device observe the following
instructions:
1. Turn on the controller.
2. Hold SET for 3 seconds until it shows SV on the top screen. Now the top screen shows the
parameter and the bottom screen shows the parameter value.
3. Press UP or DOWN to adjust the SV value to the desired cut off temperature. (Holding the
button allows for rapid number adjustments.)
4. Press SET to show Cd on the top screen.
5. Press UP or DOWN to adjust the Cd value and create the desired cooling on temperature,
remember SV + Cd = COOLING ON TEMPERATURE.
6. Press POWER, congratulations your controller is now programmed!
Using both a cooling and heating device:
When using a cooling and heating device you must set three parameters, the SV (set value), the
Cd (cooling differential), and the Hd (heating differential). SV is the cut off temperature for the
cooling and heating devices, this makes it your target or ideal temperature. Cd is the difference
between SV and the temperature at which the cooling device will be turned on, while Hd is the
difference between SV and the temperature at which the heating device will be turned on. For
example if you want a cooling device to be turned on at 100F and turned off at 95F while also
wanting a heating device to be turned on at 92F then SV = 95, Cd = 5, and Hd = 3.
