5. Set the Unit Select switch for the base unit to the
Base (up = Base) position (Figure 11).
6. Set the Unit Select switch for all other units in the
stack to the Off (down = Off) position
Only one unit in the stack can be the base unit.

Note:
In a mixed stack configuration that contains
one or more Business Policy Switch units, the
Business Policy Switch must be configured as the base
unit. If you do not designate the Business Policy
Switch as the base unit, the stack will not operate.
