FCC RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFACE
STATEMENT
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with this manual, may
cause interference to radio communication. This equipment has been
type tested and found to comply within the limits for a Class A digital
device pursuant to Subpart J of Part 15 of FCC rules. FCC rules
provide reasonable protection against interference with radio
communications in a commercial environment. Not installing in
accordance with this manual or operating this unit in a residential
environment is likely to cause interference. In such cases, the user will
be responsible for the expense of correcting the interference.
FCC REQUIREMENTS
a. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has established
rules permitting a direct connection to the telephone network. These
connections use standardized jacks. Do not use this equipment on party
lines or coin lines.
b. If this device is malfunctioning, it may also be causing harm to
the telephone network; disconnect this device until the source of the
problem is determined and repairs made. The Telephone Company
may temporarily disconnect service until the problem is corrected.
c. The Telephone Company may make changes in its technical
operations and procedures. If such changes affect the compatibility or
use of this device, the Telephone Company is required to give adequate
notice of the changes. In this case, you have the right to file a
complaint with the FCC.
d. If the Telephone Company requests information on connected
equipment to their lines, inform them of the following:
1. The telephone number of this unit.
2. The ringer equivalence number (indicated on the label).
3. The USOC jack required: RJ-11
4. The FCC Registration Number (indicated on the label).
