The Sample (SA) command instructs the V77 ADM-1 to read and report a single data
message for each channel specified. When using Command Reporting Method, the
data message is made from the programmed No. of Samples to Average taken at the
programmed Sample Rate. When using Immediate or Schedule Reporting Method,
the data message is made from the programmed No. of Samples to Average taken at a
burst sampling rate. For example, if the Sample command is sent and the present No.
of Samples to Average is 400, the data message reported is 400 samples taken at the
burst sample rate, averaged, then reported. The Sample command has the following
format:
SAn<cr>
where n = Channel# (1 to 16 or 0 for all).
