2 Holding both handles, pull straight outward on the fan tray to disconnect the internal connector.

3 Set the fan tray aside in a safe place.
4 Holding the replacement fan tray with both handles, align it with the opening and slide it straight
into the chassis.
Caution
If a fan tray is to be replaced while the BlackDiamond X series is operating, the new fan
tray should be ready to insert. Insert the replacement within five minutes to insure the
BlackDiamond X series does not overheat.
