Introduction
The PCN/BOM process exists to make certifiable, traceable, and “releasable” files
available for others who need them. When you run
bn_bomprocess
and
bom_upload
, you make it possible for EDA to record the appropriate changes in
the SAP database and to move the project files into a controlled archive area such
as
/bay
dir
/dra/rel
, or in
ftp
or web directories so that other people can access
them.
The “To-Be-Released” Area
The directories that you put these files into are (where
dir
is either
west
or
east
):
•
/bay
dir
/dra/2brel/programs/
PartNumber.nn
/
•
/bay
dir
/dra/2brel/mech/
