Clearing Events
Clearing events from the events log buffer is useful if you want to conduct an
experiment and examine the events log afterwards.
Enter the
clearlog
command with one or more of the following parameters to
clear all events from an event buffer or buffers, where
<slot_no.>
is the location of
the log buffer you are clearing:
clearlog
[
<slot_no.>
]
clearlog
[
<slot_no.>-<slot_no.>
]
clearlog
[
<slot_no.>,<slot_no.>. . .
]
The system automatically clears all events from the buffer associated with the slot
or slots you indicate.

You may want to save the log to a file for later retrieval before clearing
it. See “Saving the Events Log
” on page 6-8.

Clears all events from memory
clearlog 2
Clears all events from the slot 2 event buffer
clearlog 5-7
Clears all events from the slot 5, 6, and 7 event buffers
clearlog 2,5,8
Clears all events from the slot 2, 5, and 8 event buffers
