Expansion Module LEDs

When the ARN/DC has an optional expansion module installed, its interface

LEDs are visible on the front panel. For the location of the ARN/DC expansion

module slot, see Figure 1-4 on page 1-9.

Ethernet LEDs

Serial LEDs

Note:

The ARN/DC base module boots to a fully operational state before

bringing up expansion module interfaces.

LED Meaning

(Transmit)

Lights when the interface is transmitting data over the network.

(Receive)

Lights when the interface is receiving data from the network.

(Collision)

Lights when the interface detects a collision on the network.

RLSD3 Lights when Received Line Signal Detection (RLSD) is active on

COM3.

RLSD4 Lights when RLSD is active on COM 4.
