Software Installation
This guide describes how to install BayRS
™
(router software) and Site Manager
software from CD.
Before You Begin
Review this section before using the CD to install, upgrade, or modify BayRS and
Site Manager software.
Installing New Routers and Software
If you received this CD with a new router, you can use the instructions in this
guide to install Site Manager from the CD. (BayRS is already installed on your
router.) But first you must:
• Install the router as described in its installation guide.
• Create your first network connection with the Quick-Start procedure.
For information about the Quick-Start procedure and complete Site Manager
system requirements and installation instructions, see Quick-Starting Routers. You
should be familiar with the instructions in Quick-Starting Routers before using
this guide.
Upgrading and Modifying Router Software
If you received this CD as part of an upgrade, you can use the instructions in this
guide to install Site Manager and BayRS from the CD. But first you must review
the upgrading guide and, if applicable, the upgrade section of the Document
Change Notice for your version of BayRS.
