Supported Workstations
Site Manager software runs on the following workstations:
• 486 PC (Pentium PC recommended)
• 486/100 workstation (Pentium workstation recommended)
• Sun SPARCstation 10 or 20
• Sun UltraSPARC
• HP 9000 workstation Series 700 or 800
• IBM RS/6000 340, 370 workstation
• IBM PowerPC

Installing Site Manager on a PC
To install Site Manager software on a PC running Windows
®
95 or Windows NT
®
:
1.
If you are reinstalling Site Manager, delete existing Site Manager state
files, which are created for all Site Manager tools you use.
In the Run window, enter:
del c:\wf\*.sts
2.
Insert the Site Manager CD into your CD-ROM drive.
3.
Access the Run window by choosing Run from the Start menu.
4.
Type the CD-ROM drive, path, and executable file:
<CDROM_drive>
:\ms_win\setup.exe
Drive D is usually the CD-ROM drive.
You can also use the Browse button, Windows Explorer, or My Computer to
select the CD-ROM drive and the path to the ms_win directory and then click
on setup.exe.
