Chapter 4 Troubleshooting Procedures
Setup Mode Error States
Table 4-5 contains a description of the LEDs that are used to describe
errors that occur at different stages of the system start-up process. If
the Remote Annex 6300 fails while testing the hardware, (state T2),
the error condition is hardware failure TE2. A description of each error
condition follows

Flashing regularly (about 1Hz).
Activity TE2:
Hardware Failure
The ROM diagnostics detected a Remote Annex 6300 hardware
problem requiring service. Call Customer Support.
Activity TE7: Booted
Wrong Image
The Remote Annex 6300 loaded an inappropriate image. Press the
button for 3 seconds to reset the device. Following is a list of
ways to prevent this problem in the future:
Be sure that you configure the Remote Annex 6300 with the
appropriate image.
Be sure that the image you are booting has the right name.
Don’t rename the image file unless you are making a copy
for safe keeping.
If you used an na, admin, or cli boot command, specify the
correct image and a valid filename.
