Appendix B Cables and Connectors
This appendix describes the wiring for the following cables
and connectors:
❑ Serial Port Cables.
❑ Loopback Connectors.
The Remote Annex 2000 accessory kit includes the loopback
connectors; it does not supply the serial port cables.
Serial Port Cables
The Remote Annex 2000 is a DTE system that conforms to an 8-wire
USOC wiring standard.
Serial Cable Wiring Diagrams
Figure B-1 and Figure B-2 illustrate the pin numbers and signal
directions for cabling from the RA 2000 to respective devices.
