Chapter 1 Introduction
The Remote Annex 4000 is a multi-purpose network server. The
Remote Annex 4000 is used for:
❑ Remote Network Access.
❑ Dial-up Routing.
❑ Terminal, Printer, and Communications Access.
Remote Network Access
The Remote Annex 4000 is a multi-protocol, remote access server that
provides remote network access to the following networks:
❑ Novell Netware.
❑ TCP/IP.
❑ AppleTalk.
Figure 1-1 shows how the Remote Annex 4000 is used for remote
access.
