Appendix C Port Upgrade Instructions
The Remote Annex 4000 port upgrade kit allows you to upgrade
the number of ports by adding or swapping a Serial Line Controller
(SLC). These installation instructions provide the following:

Contents of the Kit
The Remote Annex 4000 port upgrade kit contains:
❑ One serial line controller.
❑ Two pan-head Phillips screws (#8-32x

) and washers.
❑ One cable retainer.
Required Tools
The required tool is a Phillips screwdriver.
