NETWORKING

Selecting Networking from the Hardware setup menu will open a menu similar to one of the following:

Ethernet enabled allows you to enable or disable Ethernet connectivity. Options are Yes or No. If the option is set to Yes,

additional menu items will be displayed.

Use DCHP (only visible if Ethernet enabled is set to Yes) allows dynamic IP addresses to be enabled or disabled. Options are

Yes or No.If yes is selected IP addresses will be obtained automatically; if no, IP addresses must be entered manually.

IP addresses (only visible if Ethernet enabled is set to Yes) allows you to manually set up IP addresses. Selecting this field and

pressing the enter key will open the following menu:

To edit an address, select the field to be edited using the up/down arrow keys and then press the enter key. The selected

address will be opened in a sub menu with the first three numbers selected (IP addresses can only be edited manually if Use

DCHP is set to no):

Use the up/down arrow keys or camera number keys (1 to 9) to change the selected numbers. When finished, use the right

arrow key to select the next three numbers in the address. Again, use the up/down arrow keys or camera number keys to

change the numbers. Carry on in this manner until the address has been fully entered. Press the enter key to quit editing.

Email setup (only visible if Ethernet enabled is set to Yes) allows you to configure the settings required for the Send email

action. To edit the properties, highlight the field and press the enter key. A sub menu similar to the following will appear:
