RELAYS
This menu allows you to configure the two built in relays.
Relay number allows you to select either relay 1 or relay 2. To change the relay number, highlight the field and press the enter
key. Next, use the up/down arrow keys to select 1 or 2. Press enter when selection is complete.
Relay action allows you to select what the relay will do when it is triggered. To change the action, highlight the field and press
the enter key.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select from:
Open an event (alarm, motion detection, etc.) will cause the relay to open
Close an event (alarm, motion detection, etc.) will cause the relay to close
Open 1/2s an event (alarm, motion detection, etc.) will cause the relay to open for a period of 1/2 second
Close 1/2s an event (alarm, motion detection, etc.) will cause the relay to close for a period of 1/2 second
Press the enter key when the selection has been made.
ALARMS
This menu allows you to configure the Baxall Vivid DVR’s alarm system.
Alarm input allows you to select alarm 1 to 16. To change the alarm input, highlight the field and press the enter key. Next, use
the up/down arrow keys to select 1 to 16 or camera number keys (1 to 9). Press enter when selection is complete.
Enabled allows you to enable or disable the selected alarm input. If Enabled is set to Yes, more options are revealed:
Setup allows you to select whether the alarm is either Normally open or Normally closed. Select the field and press the enter
key. Use the up/down arrow keys to select Normally open or Normally closed. Press the enter key when finished.
Alarm action when selected, additional menus allow you to set the properties for the selected alarm.
