Turbo Wheel Up Grade Kit (FK7500577) For Baum 714XLT and Flexifold Table Top Folders Installation Instructions TP10562
These instructions cover the installation of the new Baum Turbo Wheel Up-Grade Kit for existing Baum 714XLT Air Feed Table Top Folders and Baum Flexifold Automated Table Top Folders in the field. This kit consists of a new Baum Turbo Suction Wheel complete with bearings and a detailed instruction manual on how to install it. You will need a 2.5 mm hex key and a 3 mm hex key to do this up-grade.
6) Carefully lift up the Feed Table and set the feed table aside. The Feeder Drive Assembly will remain on the table. 7) Remove the (4) 4mm soc hd cap screws holding the plate for the vacuum manifold assembly in place using a 3 mm hex wrench. 8) Separate the vacuum adapter from the old feed wheel. 9) Slide the old sucker wheel off the shaft.
11) Re-install the vacuum adapter 12) Secure plate for vacuum adapter using the (4) soc hd cap screws removed in step #7. 13) Place the Feed Wheel Assembly back flat on table. 14) Position the Feed Table over the Feed Wheel assembly and line up the (6) mounting holes. Re-install the (6) 4mm flat head screws removed in step #5 and once all have been started tighten them using a 2.5 mm hex key.
16) Align the scribe marks on the blow tube and tighten the set screw locking the blow tube into position. 18) If the sheet detector tab is not in proper alignment loosen the (4) screws holding the rack adapted plate in place ( two on each side) and move the front gear rack forward or backwards to line up the orange tab. When you have finished aligning the tab re-tighten the screws. 17) Sight down the front edge of the orange sheet detector tab to make sure it is even with the edge of the vacuum manifold.
