KEY to Programmes
o 1 & 6 PREWASH
THE PREWASH SHOULD BE SELECTED WHEN YOU
WANT TO WASH HEAVILY SOILED ITEMS.
o The Prewash cycle (1) can be selected when using
Programme ‘1’ ( ) on the dial. NOTE: This is
for white cotton and linen articles that do not have a
special finish.
o The Prewash cycle (6) can be selected when using
programme ‘6’ ( ) on the dial. Use this setting for
white nylon polyester cotton mixtures.
o Rinse and Spin (3 & 8).
The rinse and spin programme can be selected for
articles that have been hand washed. The rinse and
spin programme (‘3’ on the dial) is for normal fabrics
(1200 rpm). The rinse and spin ‘8’ is for delicate
fabrics (500 rpm).
o To utilise this function, simply turn the knob to
either ‘3’ or ‘8’ and press in the ‘ON/OFF’
button.
o LONG SPIN (5)
The long spin can be selected by turning the knob to
position ‘5’ on the dial. This should be used only for
normal fabric at 1200rpm, but note: If you have
pressed the spin speed button for 500rpm, the drum
will only revolve at 500rpm.
o SHORT SPIN (12)
The slower spin speed
(500 rpm) can be selected by
turning the knob to position ‘12’ and must be used for
delicate items and woollens. Note: Even if you have
pressed the spin speed button for 1200rpm, the short
spin will only turn the drum at 500rpm.
Never use a fast spin programme on wool!
