DHCP Client Range: The range of IP addresses the Wi-Fi Range Extender’s DHCP server will assign to users and
devices connecng to the Wi-Fi Range Extender.
Static DHCP: You may set a stac IP address within your DHCP network. The Wi-Fi Range Extender will track the
device via its MAC address and assign it a pre-dened IP address each me the device logs into the network.
Auto-Load Menu: The Wi-Fi Range Extender automacally loads the web based Smart Setup Wizard when it
detects that there is a problem with your home network connecon. To turn this fe
ature o, disable the Auto-
Load menu feature.
Domain Name: The Domain Name allows you to change the URL which is used to access the Setup Menu for
the Wi-Fi Range Extender. For example, entering hp://setup.bauhnwireless.com into your web browser while
connected to the , will guide you to the Web menu for the Wi-Fi Range Extender. By
changing the Domain Name, you will change the URL entered to access the Web menu. If you forget the
Domain Name you entered and can no longer access the Web menu, then you will need to reset your Wi-Fi
Range Extender to default sengs by hol
ding down the reset buon on the back panel for 5 -10 seconds.
Wi-Fi Range Extender
802.1d Spanning Type (STP): A network protocol that ensures a loop-free topology for networks that have Ethernet
bridges. The STP prevents bridge loops and allows a network design to include redundant links to provide automac
backup paths if acve links fails.
Clone MAC Address: The Wireless Extender can use a MAC address that you dene as its own. This is oen used when
an Internet Provider only authorizes one MAC address to access the Internet. Cloning the MAC address will make it so
that the cloned MAC address is the only MAC address seen by the Internet Provider.
