Battery Condition Indicator Model BCI 12103 The Battery Condition Indicator (BCI) displays the condition of your battery instantly. The BCI can be used with all 12 Volt batteries, any size/type, including maintenance-free, deep cycle and gel. Installing the BCI 1. Turn engine and all accessories off. 2. Carefully find the best location on or near your battery to place the BCI so it can be easily seen and read. Make sure the leads from the BCI reach the bottom terminal clamps provided. 3.
Battery Condition Indicator DISPLAY Model BCI 12103 CONDITION No lights. Battery is dead. Replace the battery. R ed lights up Battery is in poor condition = 11.2 - 11.8 volts. The battery may be dead, severely shorted or deeply discharged. If in doubt, replace the battery. Battery is in fair condition = 11.8 - 12.3 volts. The battery may be shorted or discharged and unable to start your vehicle. Check the charging system. Battery is good = 12.3 - 12.8 volts. R ed and Yellow light up.
