Launch Assist
If you want help in setting off on inclines or to get a smooth
getaway at junctions and traffic lights, there is a system avail-
able whereby the motor can be applied even when no assis-
tance is selected. This is known as Launch Assist and is acti-
vated by holding down the UP button for 2 seconds.
The motor will be switched on in low speed and will continue on until the UP but-
ton is released. The bicycle will be powered at approximately 4 MPH, 6 KMH.
This system is designed for intermittent use and should not be used for more
than a few seconds at a time. If you want continuous power then the Assist
modes should be selected.
BS EN15194 Compliance
The BATRIBIKE LCD range is tested and certified to BS EN15194.
For the British market, the addition of a twist grip throttle has rendered this not
compliant in some countries.
 You are recommended to seek advice from the relevant authorities in the
country you are visiting before travelling.
Other Functions
The SPANNER icon indicates a Service Code.
If this is shown then switch off the power and disconnect the bat-
tery for 2 minutes. Plug back in and switch on.

contact your dealer for assistance.
