Image Acquisition Control AW00098504000
80 Basler ace Camera Link
For more detailed information about the camera’s GPIO line, see Section 5.7 on page 35.
For more information about using a software trigger to control frame acquisition start, see
Section 7.3.2 on page 83.
For more information about using a hardware trigger to control frame acquisition start, see
Section 7.3.3 on page 86.
Exposure Time Control with the Frame Start Trigger On
When the Trigger Mode parameter for the frame start trigger is set to on and the Trigger Source
parameter is set to software, the exposure time for each frame acquisition is determined by:
the value of the camera’s Exposure Time Abs parameter if you are parameterizing the camera
using Basler pylon.
the value in the camera’s Exposure Time Raw register if you are parameterizing the camera
using direct register access.
When the Trigger Mode parameter is set to on and the Trigger Source parameter is set to line 1,
CC1, CC2, or CC3, the exposure time for each frame acquisition can be controlled using one of the
values mentioned in the two bullet points above or it can be controlled by manipulating the hardware
trigger signal.
For more information about controlling exposure time when using a software trigger, see
Section 7.3.2 on page 83.
For more information about controlling exposure time when using a hardware trigger, see
Section 7.3.3 on page 86.
Typically, a frame grabber is used to supply an electrical frame start signal to CC1,
CC2, or CC3.
