4 Reset Tool
A reset tool is available that will let you reset the camera via its RS-232 serial connection. This tool
is especially useful if you have enabled user management on the camera and you can no longer
remember your administrative password. The tool resets all of the camera’s parameters to factory
defaults.
A cable that connects from the RS-232 connector on a PC to the camera’s terminal connector is
required to use the tool. The instructions included with the tool include information about how to wire
the cable.
