5.4.5 Replace Shear Pin on
Torque Limiter
See Figures 5-8 and 5-9.
1. Lock electrical disconnect switch in OFF position.
2. Remove driving chain cover (see Figure 5-8).
3. Remove broken shear pin parts from torque limiter and sprocket
using a suitable tool.
4. Align shear pin hole located in torque limiter with hole located in
sprocket.
5. Insert new shear pin inside hole using an Allen key.
6. Reinstall driving chain cover.
7. Unlock electrical disconnect switch and position to ON.
