5.4.2 Grease Cage Conveyor
Bearings
See Figures 5-1 and 5-6.
Once a week, grease conveyor bearings as follows:
1. Lock electrical disconnect switch in OFF position.
2. Locate six conveyor bearing grease cups, three on each side of
unit (see Figure 5-1).
3. Apply two gun strokes of lithium-base grease to each bearing
cup (see Figure 5-6). Refer to S
ECTION 7, REPLACEMENT PARTS
AND
PRODUCTS, for ordering information.
4. Unlock electrical disconnect switch and position to ON.
WARNING–ELECTRIC SHOCK
AND/OR BURN HAZARD:
Disconnect all utilities to dis-
penser before servicing. Do
not service dispenser unless
all utilities have been properly
locked out. Always follow local
lockout-tagout and electrical
safety-related work practice
standards.
