5.4 Weekly
Maintenance
5.4.1 Verify Gearbox Oil
Level
See Figures 5-1 and 5-5.
1. Lock electrical disconnect switch in OFF position.
2. Locate gearbox at top left side of unit, viewed from load side
(see Figure 5-1).
3. On right side of gearbox, loosen gearbox top oil level plug. Do
not remove plug (see Figure 5-5).
4. Oil should drip from hole. If not, add good quality gearbox oil as
necessary.
NOTE: See Table 5-2 for list of approved lubricants.
5. Retighten plug.
6. Unlock electrical disconnect switch and position to ON.
WARNING–ELECTRIC SHOCK
AND/OR BURN HAZARD:
Disconnect all utilities to dis-
penser before servicing. Do
not service dispenser unless
all utilities have been properly
locked out. Always follow local
lockout-tagout and electrical
safety-related work practice
standards.
