Operation
a) Insert / change batteries
Thethermo-hygrometer uses2xAAA, IECLR3, 1.5Vbatteries.To installand replacethe
batteries,pleasefollowthestepsbelow:
• Insertngerorothersolidobjectinthespaceatthebottomcenterofthebatterycompartment
andliftuptoremovethecover.
• Insertbatteriesobservingthecorrectpolarity(seemarking).
• Replacecompartmentcover.
Itisrecommendedtoreplacethebatteriesonanannualbasistoensureoptimum
accuracyoftheseunits.
b) Setting up
Oncethebatteriesareinplace,allsegmentsoftheLCDwilllightupbriey.Thentheindoor
temperatureandhumidityreadingswillbedisplayed.
If the indoor temperature and humidity are not displayed after a few seconds,
removethebatteriesandwaitforatleast30secondsbeforereinsertingthem.
c) Positioning the thermo-hygro monitor
Thethermo-hygrometercomescompletewithastand,whichgivestheoptionoftablestanding
orwallmounting.Towallmount:
• Fixascrewintothedesiredwall,leavingtheheadextended
outbyabout5mm.
• Using the thermo-hygro monitor’s hanging hole, carefully
hangitontothescrew.
Alwaysensuresthattheunitlocksontothescrew
headbeforereleasing.

(rechargeable) batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin,
therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted (rechargeable)
batteries.
• (Rechargeable)batteriesmustbe kept outofreach of children.Donot leave
(rechargeable) batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets
swallowthem.
• All(rechargeable)batteriesshouldbereplacedatthesametime.Mixingoldand
new (rechargeable)batteriesinthe device can lead to(rechargeable)battery
leakageanddevicedamage.
