e) Weather forecast and weather tendency

The display shows one of the following three combinations of weather icon and trend arrow:

Incaseofsuddenorlargerairpressureuctuations,thedisplaysymbolsareupdatedtoindicate

the weather change. If the display symbols do not change, either the air pressure has not

changed or the change occurred so gradually that it could not be registered by the weather

station.

If sunny weather is indicated and the weather improves, the display will not change. If rainy

weather is indicated and the weather worsens, the display will also not change as both display

icons already represent the two extremes.

The display symbols indicate an improvement or worsening of the weather. This does not

necessarily mean that the weather is sunny or rainy. If the weather is cloudy, although the

weather station indicates rain, this is not a malfunction. It only means that the barometric

pressure has dropped and the weather is likely to worsen. But this need not necessarily mean

rain.

mustrstcollectbarometricpressuredataataconstantaltitudetomakeamoreexactforecast.

As with all other weather forecasts, absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteed for this weather

station. The reliability of the weather forecast is approx. 75%. In areas with fast-changing

weather conditions, the weather forecast will be slightly more accurate in comparison to areas

with constant weather.
