12. Disposal

a) General information

Theproductmustnotbedisposedofinthehouseholdwaste.

Disposeoftheproductattheendofitsserviceablelifeinaccord-

ance with the current statutory requirements; e.g., return it to any

suitablecollectionpoint.

Removeanynormalorrechargeablebatteriesinsertedanddisposeofthemsepa-

ratelyfromtheproduct.

b) Disposal of used batteries/rechargeable batteries

Astheenduser,youarerequiredbylaw(BatteryOrdinance)toreturnallspent

rechargeablebatteries;disposaloftheminthehouseholdwasteisprohibited!

Contaminated rechargeable batteries are labelled with these sym-

bolstoindicatethatdisposalinthedomesticwasteisforbidden.The

symbolsofthecriticalheavymetalsare:Cd=Cadmium,Hg=Mer-

cury,Pb=Lead.Youcanreturnusedrechargeablebatteriesfreeof

charge, to any collection facility in your local authority, to our stores

or to any other store where rechargeable batteries are sold.

Youtherebyfullyourstatutoryobligationsandcontributetotheprotectionof

the environment!
