12. Maintenance and care
• Ifthedisplaycontrastdecreasesorthetimedisplaystops,thebatteriesare
atandmustbereplaced.Todothis,detachthefrontpartofthehousing
byreleasing the clipscarefully(they are situatedinthe middle ontheleft
andrightside).Pressundertheclipsandpullthefrontpartofthehousing
slowly away.
Replacetheexhaustedbatteriesfornewones;disposeoftheoldbatteriesin
an environmentally correct way.
Close the housing of the room thermostat again.
• Tocleantheoutsideoftheproduct,adry,cleanandlint-freeclothissufcient.
• Donotuseanyaggressivecleaningagentsorchemicals.Impropercleaning
agentscancausediscolourationontheplasticsurfaceordamagethelet-
tering.Neveruseaggressivescouringcleaners,alcohol, gasoline,spiritor
similar liquids for cleaning the device!
