b) Batteries/rechargeable batteries
• Batteries/rechargeablebatteriesmustbekeptoutofthereachofchildren.
• Donotleavebatteries/rechargeablebatterieslyingaround;theycouldbeswallowedby
childrenorpets.Ifswallowed,consultadoctorimmediately.Dangertolife!
• Acid contact due to leaking or damaged single/rechargeable batteries can burn your
skin,thereforeusesuitableprotectivegloves.
• Pleaseobservethecorrectpolarity(positive/+andnegative/-)wheninsertingthebat-
teries(noteplus/+andminus/-).
• Batteries/rechargeablebatteriesmustneverbeshort-circuited,takenapartorthrown
intore.Thereisadangerofexplosion!
• Donotrechargesingle-use,non-rechargeablebatteries.Thereisadangerofexplo-
sion!
• Replaceadeadbatteryassoonaspossiblewithanewone,orremovethespentbat-
tery. A dead battery may leak and can damage the device!
• Inthecaseofdisuseforalongerperiodoftime(e.g.,storage),removetheinsertedbat-
teries/rechargeablebatteries.Asthebatteryages,itposesadangerofleaking,which
thencancausedamagetotheproduct.Thewarranty/guaranteewillbevoid!
• Always replace the whole set of batteries/rechargeable batteries, only use batter-
ies/rechargeablebatteries of the sametype, by the samemanufacturer and in the
samechargingstate(donotmixchargedbatterieswithhalf-chargedoratbatteries/
rechargeable batteries).
• Nevermixnormalbatterieswithrechargeablebatteries.Useeitherbatteriesorrecharge-
able batteries.
