3. Intended use
Adjustandregulatethetemperatureofyourlivingspaceaccordingtoyourneedswiththisroom
thermostat.Itisoperatedviaacontrolpanel.Setupprogramsdependingonthetimeordaytime.
Alsointegratedisaholidaymodewhichcontrolsthetemperatureduringyourabsence.Itispossible
to control heating or cooling systems directly.
Theroomthermostatismountedonawall.Theloadconnectedisturnedonoroff(formax.con-
nectableload,see“TechnicalData”)dependingonthetemperature.Temperatureismeasuredby
an external sensor.
ItispoweredbytwoAAbatteries.
Theproductisdesignedforindooruseonly.Donotuseinwetroomsorunderunfavourableambient
conditions. Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
- Wet conditions or high air humidity
- Dustandammablegases,vapoursorsolvents
- Thunderstormsorsimilarconditionssuchasstrongelectrostaticelds
Useotherthanthatdescribedabovecanleadtodamagetotheproductandmayinvolveadditional
riskssuchas,forexample,shortcircuits,re,electricalshocksetc.Nopartoftheproductmaybe
modiedorrecongured!Readtheoperatinginstructionscarefullyandkeepthemforlaterrefer-
