To activate the menu item, press the OK button.
Use the cursor buttons to select the respective parameters and press the OK button to
conrmtheselection.

11. Taking measurements
In order to obtain precise measured values, the measuring instrument must be
adjusted to the ambient temperature. Allow the device to adjust to the ambient
temperature after relocation.
Lengthy IR measurements of high temperatures at a small measuring distance
cause self-heating of the measuring instrument and thus an inaccurate
measurement. In order to obtain precise measured values, remember the
following rule: The higher the temperature, the greater the measuring distance
and the shorter the measuring time.
