The magnetic contacts cannot be directly attached to metal frames. If your window or door
frames are made of metal, attach a piece of wood or plastic (at least 1 cm thick) between the
metal and the magnetic contact.
If you want to install the alarm system in a caravan, motor home or boat, replace the mains
electricity supply with the corresponding on-board power supply, such as a 12 volt car bat-
tery.
Testing the motion sensor
After installing the alarm system, press the „AWAY“ button on the infrared remote control to activate the „walk
test“. The walk test / status LED lights up as soon as something moves in the monitored area. You can check
the exact range of detection by walking around in front of the sensor.
After completing the walk test, leave the room and wait at least 90 seconds before re-entering the monitored
area. This causes the alarm to re-activate itself automatically. After it has successfully reactivated, a short sig-
nal tone sounds. After this, both the motion sensor and the magnetic contacts are active.
You must leave the room after the walk test. If you remain in the monitored area, the alarm
cannot reactivate itself.
If you re-enter the monitored area, you will be detected as an intruder. You will hear a short advance warning
tone, after which you have 15 seconds to switch off the alarm before it is triggered.
If the alarm set is not switched off within 15 seconds, the alarm sounds (internally and externally). The signal
tone stops sounding after approximately one minute. Then the alarm system automatically resets itself to the
initial mode. You can switch off the alarm at any time by simply pressing the OFF button.
When the motion sensor is initially activated, the PIR sensor takes approximately two minutes
to warm up. The walk test / status LED blinks continuously during the warm up phase. After
the sensor has warmed up, the system automatically returns to the „walk test“ mode.
Testing the magnetic contacts
Press the „HOME“ button on the IR remote control. This deactivates the motion sensor so that only the mag-
netic contacts are activated.
Wait approximately one minute until you hear a short warning signal. The alarm is now fully activated. To make
sure that the alarm system is fully functional, open a window or a door on which you had previously attached
a magnetic contact. The alarm (internal and external) is triggered. After approximately one minute, the alarm
siren is switched off and the system automatically resets.
You can use jumper A to choose between instant alarm or delayed alarm. If you choose the delayed alarm, you
will hear a warning signal.
If you have set the instant alarm, the siren will sound as soon as the alarm is triggered.

1 A max.
Cavalier A :
