Functional description
Motion detector
The motion sensor detects motion within its detection area so that you can monitor the entrance, for example,
to a house, a garage, garden, or cellar. The alarm is activated if a person enters the detection area.
The motion detector responds to heat radiation (infrared radiation) of moving objects that enter the sensor’s
detection range, e.g. persons and animals. The angle of detection is 110°. The IR range is approximately 12 m.
The sensor must „see“ the area it is to keep under surveillance. Heat radiation travels in straight lines but is
stopped, for example, by glass or other fixed objects. Keep this and other sources of interference in mind
before mounting the device.
We recommend occasional cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Detergents must not be used.
