Each pair (control unit and key) is supplied from the factory with all 6,561 possible combinations coded into it.
(See sticker) If you require more keys, they have to be recoded. The following example shows how to enter a
code into the control unit and the key:
123
Address 1 o o o (1) ------- 2 connections to 1 = 1
2 o o o (3) ------- 2 connections to 3 = 3
3 o o o (2) ------- 2 (no connection) = 2
4 o o o (2)
5 o o o (2)
6 o o o (3)
7 o o o (2)
8 ooo(1)
The coding in this example is: „13222321“.
Note
A second IR control key is available if the coding is „22222222“.
Make sure that both units end up with the same coding.
Terminal connections
- N.C. SENSOR Contact 1 and 2 = NORMALLY CLOSED. The magnetic contacts are connected here.
Note:
If you do not want to connect any magnetic contacts, you have to bridge terminals
1 and 2.
- RELAY O/P Contact 3 and 4. This is a relay contact (open) with a maximum load capacity of 1
A. You can connect the piezo siren provided to this contact, for example. You can
select between an N.C. or an N.O. contact for this connection via jumper C.
- 12 V DC Contact 5 and 6. This is where you connect the mains adaptor provided. Make sure
that the poles („+“ and „-“) are aligned correctly.
Jumper functions
There are three jumpers: A, B and C. The function of each is described below:
Jumper A: (Only for magnet contact function)
Jumper set to 1 = Delay The alarm sounds after the entry delay elapses.
Jumper set to 2 = Instant The alarm sounds immediately when activated by magnet contact.
Note:
The default factory setting is position 1. When the monitored area of the PIR sensor is disturbed, the alarm is
only activated after a short entry delay.
