c) Manually setting the time
• Press and hold the MODE button for approx. 2 seconds. The display format (24 Hr) starts
ashing.
• Use the ▲ or ▼ button to adjust the display format.
• Press the MODE button to conrm. The time difference starts ashing.
• Push the ▲ button to increase the value or the ▼ button to decrease the value. Push and
hold to fast-forward.
• Press the MODE button to conrm. The next value starts ashing.
• Follow the above steps to make settings in the following order: 12/24-hour format > time
difference (±12 hours) > hours > minutes > year > month > day > language.
The clock will return to display mode if no button is pushed in 30 seconds while in
setting mode.
The weekday can be displayed in the following languages:
GER German
ENG English
ITA Italian
FRE French
DUT Dutch
SPA Spanish
DAN Danish
d) Setting the alarm time
• Push and hold the ALARM ON/OFF button for approx. 2 seconds. The hours start ashing.
• Use the ▼/ ▲ button to adjust the hours.
• Push the ALARM ON/OFF button to conrm the setting.
• Adjust the minutes.
• Push the ALARM ON/OFF button to conrm the setting.
e) Activating / deactivating the alarm function
• Briey press the ALARM ON/OFF button to activate/deactivate the alarm function.
• If the alarm function is activated, the bell icon appears in the upper right corner of the display.
• When the alarm function is activated, the alarm will sound every day at the preset time.
f) Switching off the alarm signal / snooze function
• The alarm turns off automatically after 2 minutes.
• Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to use the snooze function. The bell symbol starts ashing.
The Zz indicator starts ashing in the center of the display. The alarm will sound again after
5 minutes.
• Press any other button to turn off the snooze function or alarm sound.
g) Thermometer
Press the ▼ button in order to switch between the temperature units ºC (Celsius) and ºF
(Fahrenheit).
Once the batteries have been inserted, it takes approx. 3 to 8 minutes for the display
to stabilize.
h) Background light
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to turn on the backlight for approx. 5 seconds.
i) 12-hour display mode
In 12 hour display mode, AM or PM is displayed left of the time.
• AM: Midnight till noon 11:59 o’clock
• PM: 12:00 o’clock noon till 23:59 o’clock
j) Daylight saving time
When in daylight saving time mode, the DST indicator appears in the upper right corner of the
display (only in case of signal reception).
k) Reset
Remove the batteries to reset all product settings to factory default.
Cleaning and care
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Clean the product with a dry, bre-free cloth.
• To prevent scratch marks, do not apply too much force on the surface during cleaning.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
(rechargeable) batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
